Well it has been a whirlwind for me, for years it was JRPG, now it is more JWRPG games like the souls series and dragons dogma. I just feel ps1/2 era JRPG’s ruled the roost so many memorable characters etc now it jsut feels a little stale there is a few standout JRPG’s this gen but not many :)
